Gamescom 2024 is coming up in a couple of months and companies are starting to confirm if they’ll be attending the event or not. Nintendo and Sony both confirmed they will not have a booth at the event, but Microsoft has officially confirmed it will have an Xbox booth with plenty of games to showcase. Xbox will have its biggest booth yet at Gamescom from August 21-25 and the games featured include Avowed, Age of Mythology: Retold, and many more. See the full list below: Age of Mythology: Retold Avowed Ara: History Untold Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Diablo Immortal The Elder Scrolls Online Fallout 76 Towerborne World of Warcraft: The War Within This list of games is just the start for the Xbox booth at Gamescom 2024 and there will be even more to announce. We’ll have to wait and see what else could be at the event, but with Indiana Jones and The Great Circle planned to release this Holiday it wouldn’t be a surprise to see that playable as well.
Sony will be skipping Gamescom 2024

Gamescom is the next biggest event in the video game industry and news is already coming out regarding some of its major exhibitors. According to Games Wirtschaft, Sony will be skipping out on Gamescom 2024 so don’t expect to see a PlayStation booth at this year’s show. “Sony Interactive currently has no plans to exhibit at Gamescom 2024”. Sony Interactive Entertainment stated. It won’t just be PlayStation that will be skipping Gamescom this year. Nintendo announced in April that they would take a break from the show. For both companies, it’s understandable as there seems to be a transition incoming for Nintendo. As for PlayStation, they don’t have any huge games to showcase. Microsoft has not made a statement on whether they will be attending the show with an Xbox booth.
