Brawlhalla announces Borderlands crossover

It’s the weekend of celebrating fighting games and Blue Mammoth Games decided to join the fun with an announcement for Brawlhalla. Shortly after Warner Bros. Games revealed Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice joining MultiVersus, Blue Mammoth announced a Borderlands crossover coming to Brawlhalla. Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters crossover event will begin August 7 and it will feature iconic Borderlands skins such as Claptrap, Tiny Tina, Krieg, and Lilith. Other details about the event have not been revealed yet. Just like with many other Brawlhalla crossovers, we’d expect there to be a themed map based on the IP it’s partnering with along with many cosmetic items in the Mallhalla. Borderlands adds to the prestigious list of crossovers Brawlhalla has done. In recent history, there have been crossovers with Halo, The Walking Dead, WWE, Star Wars, Tekken, Castlevania, Tomb Raider, and much more.

Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games made a surprise announcement at EVO 2024 before the start of Mortal Kombat Top 6. With Season 2: Back in Time starting on July 23, there will be new content added to the fighting game including new characters. It was announced that Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice will be coming to MultiVersus during Season 2. Samurai Jack will be available at the start of Season 2 on July 23. Beetlejuice will be available later in the season. The trailer teases some of Jack’s move sets and it’s safe to say he will be a favored fighter once he becomes available. After being flung into the future by the evil demon Aku, the warrior known as Samurai Jack embarked on a relentless quest to return to the past. With his unmatched swordsmanship and incredible agility, he’s truly a force to be reckoned with. MultiVersus Season 2: Back in Time will also bring a Ranked Mode. The new Ranked Mode will allow players to participate in 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 matches while competing for leaderboard points to earn exclusive rank-based cosmetic rewards. Party Animals adds Nemo Kart to the game

Party Animals from Recreate Games continues to get new content almost a year after it was released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. For the first time, Party Animals is getting a racing mode that is heavily inspired by Mario Kart. Nemo Kart is a brand new attempt by Recreate Games where players can choose their animal and uniquely styled vehicles to compete on the track. The new Kart mode features a challenging course that will test players’ driving skills and strategies. Not only will players be able to customize their Animal, but there is also an option to choose different styles of karts. Each kart has a unique performance and design. For example, some have better cornering abilities while others have higher acceleration. Nemo Kart also brings a new currency called “gears”. These help unlock new karts and special paint jobs. Each kart has several different color options to choose from as well. This new game mode can be played through custom games or in a quick match with up to 8 players. This might be the largest update we have seen come to Party Animals since September 2023. It looks like this new Kart mode brings even more reason to replay this game with friends and family. Minecraft Movie style guide looks to have been leaked

The Minecraft Movie is coming to theaters on April 4, 2025, starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black as Steve. Over the last few months, we have seen props for the film being leaked where the movie was being filmed, but nothing has been seen regarding how Jack Black will look. A new leak that looks to be a Style Guide for the Minecraft Movie shows what Jack Black looks like as Steve and the Character art such as the Creepers and other animals in the film. The initial post on X was taken down, but it is still live on Imgur. The leak originated in a 4chan post and made its way to Reddit and X, but it looks like Mojang or a company involved with the film took down the social media post. The Minecraft Movie began filming at the end of December 2023 and already wrapped up as of April 2024. Other notable actors featured in the film include Jennifer Coolidge and Danielle Brooks and it remains unknown what their roles will be.
