Dragon Age: The Veilguard will cost $70 on PS5 & Xbox Series, only $60 on PC

Electronic Arts and BioWare have officially announced that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on October 31, 2024, after it was leaked hours early. The newest game in the Dragon Age series will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Steam, EA App, and Epic Games. Store. Pre-orders for Dragon Age: The Veilguard Standard and Deluxe Editions are now available. Players will receive in-game cosmetics to personalize their journey through the saga. What is the price of Dragone Age: The Veilguard? Dragon Age: The Veilguard Standard Edition will cost $69.99 on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 while it will only cost $59.99 on PC. The Deluxe Edition will cost $89.99 on consoles or $79.99 on PC. Those who pre-order this edition will receive the following cosmetics: three Rook armor sets, six Rook weapons, seven companion armor sets, and seven companion weapons. EA Play Pro+ members on the EA App will enjoy unlimited access to the EA Play Pro Edition starting October 31st.
Beetlejuice comes to MultiVersus on August 20

Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games have released a new MultiVersus trailer that revealed the first look at gameplay for upcoming fighter, Beetlejuice. The mischievous demon from the Beetlejuice franchise that started with the 1988 Beetlejuice movie will come to MultiVersus on August 20 as part of Season 2: Back in Time. Here is an overview of the new fighter coming to MultiVersus via Warner Bros. Games: Beetlejuice is an assassin-class fighter who will deliver his unique blend of undead charm, straight from the Afterlife. In the new video, the shapeshifting “Bio Exorcist” deploys ghoulish attacks and creepy-crawly companions to send a chill up the Multiverse’s spine, including his ability to summon beetles and sandworms to assist during battle, protrude spikes from all over his body to inflict pain, and charge up devastating overhead hammers to slam down on opponents. The trailer also shows off the Beetlejuice Matador variant, along with the Beetlejuice-inspired Afterlife variants that will be available for a variety of MultiVersus characters in conjunction with the Beetlejuice release on Aug. 20. Samurai Jack was added at the start of Season 2: Back in Time which was first revealed at EVO 2024. The new season brought a Ranked Mode for Singles and Doubles.
Dead Island 2 Is Receiving a Major Free Update on October 22

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios announced that Dead Island 2, the multimillion-copy-selling first-person action RPG is getting a major free update on October 22, 2024. This update will bring a wave of thrilling new content and features designed to elevate the player’s zombie-slaying experience. New Game Plus will be coming to Dead Island 2 and players will now be able to dive back into the heart of HELL-A, armed with their favorite characters, weapons, and new challenges. There will also be increased difficulty options, new enemies, and additional skill slots making the fight against the undead more chaotic than ever before. Neighborhood Watch is a brand new cooperative horde mode that pits players against relentless zombie swarms. As members of the Bobcats, a fresh trio of College survivors, players must defend their frat house In Venice from relentless waves of zombies. Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases on October 31

BioWare announced its next Dragon Age title will be named ‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard’ and showcased more of the game earlier this Summer. A 20-second ad for the next BioWare title was accidentally released and it revealed the release date. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on October 31, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will not be available on the older generation consoles, Xbox One and PS4. The video revealing the release date is available to view on Streamable: With Gamescom Opening Night Live set to take place on Tuesday, August 20, BioWare might announce an official release date during the event, which Geoff Keighley will host.
Forza Horizon 5 is the rumored Xbox game coming to PlayStation

There has been a large rumor circulating the video game industry that a “big” Xbox game will be coming to PlayStation next week. It started with Shinobi on ResetEra responding to a fan who speculated Killer Instinct, but the insider said it was a bigger game. NateDrake on ResetEra also says there will be something announced soon as far as another Xbox game coming to PlayStation. Multiple reports have been going around that Forza Horizon 5 will be getting a port to PlayStation 5 next week during Gamescom. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Forza Horizon 5, one of Xbox’s biggest releases this generation go on to more platforms. There is no doubt the racing game would do well on PS5 as we’ve seen with Sea of Thieves when it led sales charts. According to Jez Corden of Windows Central, Forza Horizon 5 will not be the game announced next week coming to PlayStation 5. However, he said it wouldn’t be a surprise to eventually see the game be ported to Sony’s console in the future. Gamescom Opening Night Live will be taking place on Tuesday, August 20 at 2 PM ET and there will be several games featured. One of the games featured will be Indiana Jones and The Great Circle which is planned to release this year and it was previously rumored that was a game considered for PlayStation 5. Forza Horizon 5 reached 40 million players Earlier this Summer, Forza Horizon 5 reached a new milestone by having hit over 40 million Xbox players on the game in its lifetime.
