Insider reaffirms Final Fantasy XVI will come to Xbox in 2025

Final Fantasy XVI since it released in June 2023 hasn’t met Square Enix’s expectations after it was only on PlayStation 5. It was only recently that the latest Final Fantasy title launched on PC. The question still remains for many fans is whether Final Fantasy XVI will come to the Xbox platform. Earlier this year, reliable insider Shpeshal Nick revealed the Final Fantasy title will be making its way to Xbox Series X|S. It has not been many months since that claim was made with no official announcement yet from Xbox or Square Enix. Recently on X (Twitter), eXas1s who has been reliable for a lot of the leaks this year reaffirmed that Final Fantasy XVI will arrive on Xbox Series X|S in 2025. He also suggests there is no active work on the Final Fantasy VII Remake coming to Xbox. Show is currently happening and to begin the show, Xbox held a presentation. Review – Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports

Developer – Bamtang Games Publisher – GameMill Entertainment Platforms – PC (Reviewed), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PS4 Review copy given by Publisher Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports is the latest game from Bamtang Games and GameMill Entertainment, bringing another popular series to the video game world. When this game was first announced in the summer, it immediately caught our attention as we hadn’t seen a Looney Tunes sports game in a very long time. There are three different modes featured in Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports. You can compete in the Ultimate Cup. There is the Sports Mode where you can choose which sport to compete in against CPUs or play locally against friends and family with up to 4 players supported. Lastly, there is the Challenges mode where players are timed to dunk 10 basked within a minute, shoving opponents, and more. It does seem like Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports lacks a diverse range of sports, featuring only Soccer, Tennis, Golf, and Basketball. While some of these modes can be enjoyable, the enjoyment can only last for a limited time. There is also a variety of maps to compete on within these different sports modes. Personally, my least favorite mode had to be Golf while my favorite was Basketball. There are 10 characters to choose from. You can play as Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Porky Pig, Sylvester The Cat, Road Runner, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Tasmanian Devil, and Yosemite Sam. The character design in Wacky World of Sports is excellent, and the style perfectly captures the iconic Looney Tunes characters as we remember them. The gameplay is very easy to acclimate to as there is no skill needed. It’s an arcade sports game after all aimed at a younger audience. During a Basketball or Soccer game, various power-ups become available. You’ll notice an energy meter that allows you to perform a super move or Acme-themed obstacles may appear on the court. The biggest challenge for Soccer and Basketball is having to control multiple players and I will say from my experience when you don’t have the ball it’s frustrating to gain control of a different player. Tennis on the other hand, there is the ability to trigger slow motion making it easier to go back at the opponent. However, there is something about playing this mode that is not satisfying. I think it ranks above Golf, but not by much. I found the gameplay frustrating only during golf and sometimes during tennis. While I think all modes have room for improvement, golf, and tennis were the most problematic for me. Visually, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports has excelled at character design and the animation is also great. Where I think there needs to be improvement is on the levels. For example, in Golf on Whispering Woods, when you’re in gameplay, the grass and surrounding areas don’t stand out to me. The characters just don’t match the environment. I believe the game’s visual appeal shines best on the basketball court at Porky’s Barn. The small court immerses you in a crowd of other Looney Tunes characters, creating a fantastic environment. The music and other audio elements represent the Looney Tunes franchise perfectly. Fans of Looney Tunes will be satisfied with how Bamtang implemented everything they love about the cartoon series. Overall, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports lacks game modes and its biggest issue is there is no option to play online. So, if you don’t have anyone to play with locally you are stuck competing against CPUs and the fun for that can only last so long. Based on its $50 price tag, I would recommend waiting for a sale as you aren’t getting the full value. The game offers 4 sports to compete in, with different maps to unlock by completing the Ultimate Cup, which can keep you occupied. If you are looking for a game to play in the living room with your family, then I would suggest getting it. However, if you primarily play solo, I would not recommend it.

Review: Ace Attorney Investigations Collection

Developer – Capcom Co. Ltd. Publisher – Capcom Co. Ltd. Platforms – Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One,PC (Reviewed) Review copy given by Developer It’s time to exit the courtroom and get our detective hats on, that’s because It’s time to explore The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. This collection brings both Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and its sequel Prosecutor’s Path together in a beautifully remastered bundle, giving fans of the Ace Attorney series a fresh opportunity to experience two unique entries in the franchise. Stepping away from the courtroom and into the investigative side of the legal system, this collection puts you in the polished shoes of the fan-favorite prosecutor, Miles Edgeworth. Known for his cold logic and sharp deductive skills, Edgeworth is tasked with unraveling complex cases by gathering evidence, interrogating witnesses, and uncovering hidden truths—though this time, it’s all done outside the confines of the courtroom. The heart of these games lies in their compelling, mystery-driven narratives, and both titles in the collection are packed with twists, turns, and high-stakes drama. Let’s break down what each game is about : Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles EdgeworthThe first game, Ace Attorney Investigations, takes place shortly after the events of Trials and Tribulations. Miles Edgeworth finds himself thrust into various cases, most notably one involving an international smuggling ring. Instead of defending clients in court, you’re on the scene, examining evidence and piecing together clues in real-time. The standout feature here is the Logic system, where Edgeworth connects various pieces of information to form conclusions. The overarching story slowly unravels a conspiracy, one that digs deep into Edgeworth’s personal life, forcing him to confront his ideals of justice and his own moral code. Familiar faces like Detective Gumshoe and Franziska von Karma make their return, and their interactions with Edgeworth add a layer of charm to the unfolding mysteries. While each case stands on its own, they’re tied together by the underlying smuggling ring, which builds the tension over the course of the game. Edgeworth’s dynamic character development shines through as he learns to balance his sharp intellect with his evolving sense of justice. One of the highlights is how this game humanizes Edgeworth, showing his struggles to uphold his ideals while navigating an increasingly corrupt world. Ace Attorney Investigations: Prosecutor’s PathThe sequel, Prosecutor’s Path, is widely regarded as one of the best entries in the entire Ace Attorney series, and for good reason. It ramps up everything the first game did right, delivering a deeper, more intricate storyline that pulls players even further into Edgeworth’s world. This time, Edgeworth faces off against a corrupt legal system. His investigations take him through a series of cases that culminate in one of the most satisfying and dramatic finales in the franchise. The game introduces new characters, including the enigmatic prosecutor Sebastian Debeste and the cunning mastermind behind the legal corruption, Blaise Debeste. Edgeworth’s rivalries and confrontations with these new characters create some of the series’ most intense and memorable moments. The story also sees the return of Kay Faraday, the “Great Thief,” who serves as Edgeworth’s plucky sidekick. Kay’s upbeat attitude provides a great contrast to Edgeworth’s more stoic demeanor, and their partnership deepens in this game as they work together to take down the forces manipulating the justice system. The Logic Chess mechanic, introduced in Prosecutor’s Path, adds a thrilling new layer to investigations. It allows Edgeworth to interrogate suspects in a more dynamic way, forcing you to think several steps ahead in order to get the truth. The overarching story pulls no punches, diving into themes of justice, betrayal, and personal responsibility, all while delivering the series’ signature humor and over-the-top characters. Now that we talked about the story of each game in the collection, let’s take about what the collection adds in terms of features. Both games have been given a beautiful HD facelift, with revamped character designs that breathe new life into the cast. The chibi character models, seen during the investigation segments, have been completely redesigned, but for those who love the classic pixel art style, it’s still available as an option, offering a nostalgic touch for long-time fans. One of the most exciting features of this collection is the inclusion of a Chapter Select option, allowing you to revisit your favorite moments with ease. No longer do you need to slog through entire cases just to replay that one epic confrontation or key reveal. For players who want to focus on the story or just enjoy a laid-back mystery experience, the new Autoplay and Story Mode options are perfect additions. Autoplay lets you sit back as the dialogue moves forward without your input, while Story Mode will even solve puzzles for you. You can switch these modes on and off at any time, making the game more accessible without sacrificing the core experience for those who prefer a challenge. The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection also comes packed with bonus materials in the Gallery section. You can browse through in-game illustrations, view character design sketches, and listen to the game’s iconic soundtrack. For long-time fans of the series, the inclusion of orchestral arrangements of key tracks is a real treat, offering a chance to appreciate the music in a whole new way. The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is a must-have for fans of the series or anyone who loves a good mystery. The blend of intricate storylines, well-written characters, and satisfying deductions make both games a joy to play. Whether you’re a returning fan excited to see Miles Edgeworth in HD, or a newcomer curious to experience a different side of the Ace Attorney world, this collection offers something for everyone. The updated visuals, quality-of-life improvements, and added modes enhance the experience without detracting from the original charm of the games.
