Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba want to create a Shadow & Knuckles spinoff show

While Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is set to hit theaters next week on December 20th, many press have seen the movie already. In the days leading up to the Sonic 3 release, the stars were interviewed by several outlets, including the voice of Knuckles, Idris Elba, and Keanu Reeves, the voice of Shadow. Earlier this year, Paramount Pictures released the Knuckles TV Show, which was only a few episodes long and starred Idris Elba. In an interview with ComicBook, Elba expressed interest in returning for Season 2 of Knuckles no matter if Shadow will have a role in it or not. The Knuckles voice actor also said he’d be interested in a Knuckles and Shadow spinoff show. “I’m telling you…” While there’s an opportunity for a clever combination of the two characters into a unique title like “Shadow Knuckles,” Elba said to ComicBook. He also went on to say “Shadow Knuckles sounds like a band.” It has been reported that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will have multiple post-credit scenes with one of them revealing a new character to set up the fourth film. Xbox Games Head Says Porting To Other Consoles Is On A ‘Game By Game Basis’

A continuing conversation for Xbox is that the platform is more than just its own in-house console. And, Microsoft has made that apparent for the last decade. Well, it made it apparent that Xbox titles are selectively coming to PlayStation. Already, we witnessed this with titles Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, and Pentiment. Additionally, more games are promised from Xbox teams including Doom: The Dark Ages as well as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle next year in 2025. However, where the line is drawn remains unclear. It was claimed that it will be toning down this push after the new Lucasfilms title arrives to PlayStation 5. What is now clarified is that the firm is accounting for this decision similar to its Bethesda games, it says. Previously, it was told that these games are picked on a “case-by-case” basis. In an interview with Variety, president of game content and studios Matt Booty explains that the same philosophy is being applied to this new initiative. “We are very much making the [exclusivity and windowing] decisions on a game by game basis. And each of our studios is in a little bit of a different position. There’s also the production timeline on a game, so the decision on spacing comes there first. While outcry against PlayStation Network requirements does not cease to simmer down, the firm said it is not planning to lighten on this decision for future titles. Now with the PlayStation 5 accounting for more than 61 million units as of August 2024, prospects do remain high for PlayStation. And as morale continues to show a glowing future for Sony Interactive Entertainment, share prices are now reported to be at an all-time high as well. New Shenmue III Owners Polls Fans On What Platforms The Game Should Be On

Although dormant for over a decade, Shenmue did make its official return with a third installment back in 2019. And although the game did face proper version for PlayStation 4 & PC, the extent of more for the series appeared to end there. And although there was an animated series which aired on Crunchyroll later in 2022, that was the only proper attention offered to the property. In a separate follow-up from Toonami co-creator Jason DeMarco, he did confirm that plans for a second season for the animated series would not be happening. Despite that, there was an update on the state of the series. Back in November, ININ Games shared its the new owner for the Shenmue III publishing with plans for the game and potential new entries. Now as a response to the new home for Shenmue III, ININ Games has issued a new poll that does excite some fans and potential new players in the future. As part of the public survey, the firm asks the question: “On which platform would you like to see Shenmue III on?” And answers for this inquiry includes Apple Mac, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. As noted previously, despite the game being release just year ahead of PlayStation 5, it did not receive any next-generation enhancements. And PC is also in that same boat. Back during the release of Shenmue III, Epic Games Store was even honoring refunds to players that were not happy with the state of the PC version of the game. New Found Excitement Sparks With RGG Studio Confirming Plans For 2025 Like A Dragon 20th Anniversary Next Year

The still going now-Like a Dragon franchise remains one of Sega’s most prominent IPs. There is the previously leaked Yakuza Wars mobile project that did leak earlier this summer which has yet to be properly announced. And, there is also the upcoming launch for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii that received an earlier launch date this coming February. But the significance for 2025 pertaining to this RGG Studio IP is monumental as it will celebrate 20 years since the launch of the series. And as part of that, Ryu Ga Gotoku shared that next year will introduce new ways to commemorate the franchise throughout the course of 2025. Already, we saw this from Sonic Team with ‘The Year of Shadow’ in 2024 currently. “And from today we will be holding various events and making announcements leading up to the 20th anniversary next year. We’re also creating a global structure to deliver various types of merchandise and content to fans in Japan, Asia, and the West starting from next year,” studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama explained in the video on X. Warhammer 40K TV Series Now Has Momentum With Henry Cavill Officially Attached To Star, Produce

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Promises Offline Mode & Deathstroke For Season 4 As It Sunsets Support Following

Coming off the high that was Hogwarts Legacy in 2023, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment anticipated the following year with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, the near-decade wait for the next Rocksteady Studios title ended up disappointing more than anything else. With a height of 12,000 Steam players and reportedly $200 million in the red, it did not take much to gather the failures this latest title brought. According to IGN, plans for post-launch support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League appeared to extend beyond its promised first year roadmap. And with claims Rocksteady Studios is already ramping up a return to the Dark Knight, it was speculated the next update will be the nail in the coffin for this live-service attempt. With Deathstroke joining the roster, the Suicide Squad’s crusade against Brainiac is drawing to an end. Season 4 will finish up with Episode 8, which is scheduled to release in January 2025, and that will serve as the last seasonal Episode for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. While Season 4 Episode 8 will mark the final battle against Brainiac, all online features will continue to be available, so you’ll still be able to enjoy co-op with friends, as well as all previous seasonal/episodic content.
