Call of Duty 2025 could be released on the Nintendo Switch 2

Microsoft is set to be a major third-party publisher when it comes to the future of the Nintendo Switch 2. A lot of that is due to them owning Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, and Bethesda. However, in 2023 when Microsoft was in the process of purchasing Activision they agreed with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty games to their consoles. The agreement between Nintendo and Microsoft was for 10 years that will bring Call of Duty games to the Nintendo Switch 2. It is speculated the new console will release in Spring 2025 which would be available in time for the release of Call of Duty in the Fall. The 10-year agreement between the two companies is the main reason why Call of Duty 2025 could be released on the Switch 2. It may be too late for Black Ops 6 to release for the Nintendo Switch 2. We could see Warzone make its way however that remains to be seen as we don’t know the official specs of the console. Call of Duty: Ghosts was the last game in the franchise to be released on a Nintendo console.
Nintendo Switch 2 Direct to take place in April

Since the Nintendo Switch 2 was revealed there has been a lot of reaction about the trailer and how it could feel underwhelming. It showcased just the hardware, as expected, and a tease for Mario Kart 9. It was rumored prior that a presentation solely focused on software would happen later on and that turned out to be true. The official Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will be taking place on April 2, 2025. Nintendo did not confirm what will be shown, but we should expect a presentation of what the Switch 2 is all about and which games will be coming its way. A time has not been revealed yet for the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. In other news, the Switch 2 will be compatible with Switch 1 games, but not all games will be playable on the next-generation console. Other rumors indicated that Microsoft will play a big part in supporting the new console with Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to it this year. Stay tuned for more Nintendo Switch 2 news.
Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer Potentially Teases Surprise Feature

The Nintendo Switch 2 trailer only lasted for just above two minutes and it did show what the console will look like as a handheld and when it is docked. There are a lot of similarities to the Nintendo Switch 1 however, the console is bigger including the Joy-Cons which may have a new surprise feature. It was already rumored the Switch 2 Joy-Cons will have a mouse feature where you can use one of the controllers as a mouse like you would on a PC. During the trailer, there was a segment around the 1:14 mark that had both Joy-Cons swerving like they were actual mice. Every leak that has come out for the Nintendo Switch 2 has been spot on and it looks like the surprise mouse feature is legit. Nintendo likely will not share what this feature looks like when playing games until April 2, 2025, when the Switch 2 Direct takes place. In other news, the Switch 2 trailer teased what looks to be Mario Kart 9 which would have 24-player races and an updated art design.
Exclusive Interview: Ebay Seller DeansToyBox Finds a 3rd Rare Xbox in Singapore

Dean also known as DeansToyBox, the owner of an eBay store ( https://www.ebay.com/usr/deanstoybox ) specializing in rare toys and collectibles, has just informed me he has found for the third time another Rare Xbox on Carousell.sg ! Back in Feburary of 2024 , Dean found his first Rare Xbox while searching on Carousell.sg, the Singaporean marketplace, while searching for normal Toys and came across a Hello Kitty Collector’s Pack , just to his surprise, there was a rare item that caught his eye in one of the photos, the Japanese Xbox of the Hello Kitty Collector’s Pack, still complete with its box, game, controller and manuals. Dean says he contacted the collector via Carousell.sg and found out the seller only originally purchased the Xbox as she was a Hello Kitty collector and has never even played the Xbox. Dean knew that this Xbox was something special, and listed it up for Ebay Auction where it ended with a closing bid of US $10,050.00 (SGD $13,529.30) with Free Postage, much more than Dean was originally expecting the auction to reach when he started the bidding at $1,500.00. Dean was more than excited to sell the Very Rare Hello Kitty Collector’s pack for such a high amount, However, Dean realized after trying to reach out to the buyer on eBay that the buyer wasn’t serious and didn’t reply to any of Dean’s messages asking the seller about payment. Dean then hopped onto Facebook Marketplace, where he ended up selling the Xbox to an Xbox collector for $6000 via PayPal. Not long after the sale of the Hello Kitty Collector’s Xbox , Dean then found a NTSJ Spring Bundle Xbox with box in May of 2024 , which he quickly sold for $450 USD Today however , Dean has listed his 3rd Super Rare NTSJ Xbox , that being the Xbox Original MaxOnline Limited Edition Elite Halo 2 Crystal Ice Blue Console ! Released around April 2004 exclusively through Starhub Singapore, this variant features a very cool custom box showcasing the beautiful Ice Blue Xbox included on the front. This edition just like the other crystal edition was either given away or offered at a discount once you signed up for broadband internet as part of an unlimited internet access plan through Starhub called “MaxOnline” which offered speeds at the time of up to a blazing 3Mbps. This MaxOnline Limited Edition is very similar to the Cool/Ice Blue Halo edition sold in Canada by Bell BCE for signing up for their broadband internet. Included in this edition was an Ice blue edition Xbox with a matching S-controller and presumably a 2-month Xbox Live trial. While this console doesn’t turn on , Dean has confirmed , Power, AV cables and Controller are tested and working on another Xbox. With only Only 500-1000 produced exclusively in Singapore according to “Consolevariations” website, Dean hopes to sell this 3rd Complete in Box Rare Xbox find on Ebay Auction, and is currently sitting at $900 USD at time of the article posting. Limited-edition Xbox consoles are highly coveted by collectors due to their unique designs and special accessories. Microsoft has a history of releasing exclusive consoles that celebrate some of the platform’s most popular games and movies, such as Diablo 2 Remastered, Bluey, Sonic the Hedgehog and Palworld, with customized designs. These consoles often feature exclusive shells and skins, created in collaboration with game developers, making them a must-have for collectors and fans of the platform. With their limited availability and distinctive designs, these consoles have become highly sought-after items in the gaming community.
Mario Kart 9 Might Feature 24 Player Races

The Nintendo Switch 2 has officially been revealed after months of leaks. The trailer confirmed everything aesthetically about the console including the magnetic joy-cons and the Blue and Orange color scheme. It also seemingly confirmed that Mario Kart 9 would be coming to the next-generation console. The gameplay shown was at the beginning of a race on an unknown course that looked to be a large track in the middle of the desert. It was noticed shortly after the trailer was released that there were 24 available kart spots at the beginning of the race. 24-player races would be double of what Mario Kart 8 Deluxe currently has with only 12 players. Thanks to Rimea from X for sharing this image. Nintendo did not confirm nor deny if this is Mario Kart 9 or if it’s an enhanced version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. However, there are differences in the character’s art and the karts making us think it’s a brand-new game. It has been over a decade since we received a new Mario Kart game. Mario Kart 8 released on May 29, 2014, on the Wii U. Deluxe, was an enhanced version of the game giving it many more years of life.
Review: Go to IT

Developer – Black Deck Crew, Gamera Interactive Publisher – Gamera Interactive Platforms – PC (Reviewed) Review copy given by Publisher Have you ever wanted to run your own software company? If your answer is yes, Go to IT might seem like the game to scratch that itch. But don’t be fooled by its promises of tactical depth and meaningful management. This business simulation title is more of a glorified spreadsheet than an immersive experience, especially when stacked against the absolute masterpiece that is Game Dev Tycoon. Despite Game Dev Tycoon releasing after Go to IT, it manages to completely eclipse it in every possible way, making Go to IT feel like an even scrappier indie attempt than it already is. On paper, Go to IT sounds ambitious. You’re tasked with managing a software company from 1991 to the late 2000s, navigating industry trends, hiring employees, and deciding between in-house projects or outsourcing. The game brags about offering “multidimensional management challenges” and “10+ parameters to manage your team’s satisfaction.” But once you dive in, you quickly realize that these features are nothing more than shallow gimmicks. The decisions you make often feel hollow, with outcomes that are either poorly explained or seemingly random. For example, hiring employees based on their hard and soft skills is a neat concept, but the game does a terrible job of connecting your choices to measurable results. Does hiring that one developer with stellar coding skills but bad interpersonal traits really affect your success? Who knows? The game sure won’t tell you. Similarly, the historical aspect, which should add depth and immersion, is just a backdrop. You’ll see milestones like the rise of the internet or blockchain, but they’re delivered so flatly that you’ll barely care. Compare this to Game Dev Tycoon, where each new development—like transitioning from PC to console—feels exciting and game-changing. Here’s the kicker: Go to IT makes Game Dev Tycoon—an indie game created by two brothers—look like a triple-A production. It’s embarrassing how a game with such a small team can outshine Go to IT in virtually every category. The comparison only serves to highlight how half-baked Go to IT is. The so-called “multitude of parameters to manage” in Go to IT boils down to unnecessary micromanagement that adds frustration instead of fun. Meanwhile, Game Dev Tycoon strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and depth, keeping you engaged without overwhelming you. Go to IT tries to sell itself as a complex business simulator, but it’s little more than a dull chore masquerading as a game. The historical timeline is lifeless, the management mechanics lack clarity, and the overall experience feels unfinished. If you want a game that truly captures the thrill of running your own company, skip this polished turd and play Game Dev Tycoon instead. It’s proof that a small indie team with passion and talent can create something extraordinary—unlike whatever Go to IT was trying to be. P.S. For a game about IT, you’d think they’d even have higher quality screenshots in there PR kit and on there SteamPage

Halo Might Have A New Game Announcement This Year According To Insider

In late 2024, Microsoft announced it had rebranded 343 Industries, the current developers of the Halo series to Halo Studios. When that was revealed they teased what the future of Halo will look like in Unreal Engine 5. The studio at the time also confirmed they have multiple new games in development that are using the engine, but didn’t specify the projects. It was first spotted by Gameranx that industry insider Rebs Gaming who has a lot of information on the Halo franchise that a new game could be announced this year. Rebs brought up that Halo Studios is playtesting future Halo games on a weekly basis and if they are this far in development he expects at least one new game announcement in 2025. What prompted this was a post on LinkedIn from the official Xbox account talking about its playtest lab at their Redmond-based studio. The post was promoting job opportunities at Halo Studios. Last year there were multiple reports that a Halo: Combat Evolved remake was in development with it also releasing on PlayStation 5. Other rumors also claim Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be making its way to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 which would also prompt playtesting at the studio. Microsoft has not confirmed any of these rumors. However, there is an Xbox Developer_Direct planned for January 23 with a surprise game. News regarding the Halo franchise is not expected to happen.
