One such destination is Moebius, an artificial city built by corporations to extract precious minerals from the planet Vulcan. You are Aska, an android created by one of the city’s founders. Nexus, your creator, has one goal for you: Follow orders, and maybe you will be able to save the inanimate colonists trapped in the Citadel.” “One of the most unique gameplay mechanics in Metal Eden is Core Ripping. This feature enhances the combat experience by adding a strategic layer to how players engage with enemies. In this post, we’ll delve into how you can master this ability to dominate your foes and make the most of Aska’s powerful skills,” Reikon Games brand director Jakub Izydorczyk added. “While exploring Moebius you will stumble upon drones. When hacked they will provide a Body Module, which ASKA can use to empower her Core, make her capabilities even stronger and provide her with potent options to turn the tide of battle. However, it requires precision, timing, and understanding of when and how to use Body Modules effectively. This game-changing progression system can be used to tailor your experience as you explore Moebius.” How excited are you for Metal Eden? Multi-Team Portal Warfare combines the fluidity of portal movement with an expansive playfield for a wealth of opportunities to get the upper hand on opponents, and will be playable in two modes: Multi-Team Domination: Conquer and control four zones while shutting down opposing teams. Multi-Team Hotzone: Battle to claim a central zone while keeping opponents off your throne. All-New Game Modes  Splitball: This electrifying two-team arena mode combines the classic fun of Capture the Flag with the fast-paced strategy of Halo’s Oddball, challenging rivals to master both offense and defense simultaneously. Portal-hop into enemy territory to steal Splitballs while defending a home base with precision and strategy. Firecracker: Firecracker enhances the conventional two-team Search & Destroy match type with the addition of respawns. Attacking teams deploy to ignite a firecracker, and–if they can keep enemies at bay–fill the sky with fireworks while sending the crowd into a roar. Thrilling New Maps  Glacier (8v8v8): This frozen battleground is 20x the size of any other map in Splitgate and is perfect for the new pace of action debuting in Multi-Team Portal Warfare. Glacier’s icy slopes let players chain speed from sliding with portal momentum, granting freedom to traverse quickly and flank opposing teams. Bypass (4v4): This is Splitgate’s most vertical map yet, designed for high-flying plays. The tranquil park is trimmed with cafés, gondolas, and a breathtaking planetarium crowned with a centralized launchpad prime for mid-air ambushes. Master the heights, control the skies, and turn every vantage point into a tactical advantage. Eden (4v4): Eden is packed with portal walls inside and out to give players endless opportunities to flank, escape, and dominate. This advanced dome simulation beautifies the Venusian hellscape while optimizing it for rapid-fire action. Utilize the new Launch Portal on Eden, a distinct fusion of a portal wall and launch pad that empowers daring aerial attacks and game-changing plays. A Stockpile of Weapons, Equippable Gear, and More Eight unique primary and secondary weapons across three factions, for a total of 24 base firearms. Pop a headshot with the Sabrask faction’s Goliath revolver, chip away at shields with the Meridian Phasma SMG, or send rivals to the spawn screen with the Aeros Blitz shotgun. Nine pieces of equipment that deepen the strategic possibilities at hand, like the Aeros faction’s deploy-anywhere Porta-Portal. Tide-turning power weapons stashed around each map. Returning Classics (Improved Based on Community Feedback) Team Deathmatch: Rounds are extended and a higher kill target has been implemented following the community’s response to the closed alpha. Hotzone: Fight for control of the zone, this time without shared progression on captures. 1047 Games says the Splitgate 2 alpha features less than half of the content that will be in the full game.

Previously, it was revealed that PlayStation’s London Studio was piecing together an epic online, co-op title as part of its further push for live service. However, the title was ultimately canceled when discovered that layoffs in 2024 shuttered the developer completely Despite that, other initiatives from different regions are moving forward. And at its PlayStation State of Play, Ultizero Games has announced Lost Soul Aside. This world isn’t just eye candy—it’s filled with secrets, monsters, and unpredictable events that keep you interested,” game director Yang Bing says. “One standout moment during development was designing the boss battles. The fight with a towering dragon remains one of my personal favorites. It challenges you to juggle aerial dodges, perfectly timed counters, and relentless strikes. Not to mention, it’s a visual feast that feels like being part of your own epic action movie. “Beneath the flashy moves, there’s depth for players who love to experiment. Sega Reveals August 2025 Launch For Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, Coming To Xbox/PlayStation/Switch/PC

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance

For the past year, Sega has continued to vocalize its new effort to revisit its massive library currently dormant in its vault. At the time, the ‘New Energy’ initiative confirmed IPs like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Streets of Rage to be some of the featured projects for this new ambition. There has been other listings that also surfaced like Kid Chameleon & Altered Beast as well since then. Part of this effort, Sega of America & Europe CEO Shuji Utsumi has disclosed that a major focus for Sega in this initiative is to regain its alternative reputation that the firm established when releasing the Dreamcast more than two decades ago. And, this also includes the chances of any more mini consoles being washed from materializing, Utsumi being vocal on the matter last year. At the PlayStation State of Play, Sega announced Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is set to release this August for all major platforms. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below: “This title is definitely inspired by The Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III, which originally released on the Sega Genesis, and pays homage to the franchise in all sorts of ways. You have the special powers, moves – even some of the enemies, stages and bosses capture the essence of past Shinobi games. The Bamboo Forest stage, for example, returns in this title, so players familiar with Shinobiwill surely feel the nostalgia,” creative director Ben Fiquet explains.  “Sega of Japan chief producer Toru Ohara adds: “Shinobi was first released more than 30 years ago. To many players, the title Shinobi may feel nostalgic, but we believe there are also many players who have never heard of it before. We really hope that fans of both the original series as well as newer players will give the new Shinobi a try and become fans of our modern approach to the series.” Do you plan to get Shinobi: Art of Vengeance this summer? Returnal Developer Announces New Game ‘Saros’, Coming To PlayStation 5 In 2026

saros playstation 5

Developer Housemarque kickstarted the PlayStation 5 with its release of Returnal back in 2021. “Returnal has a lot of features rogue-likes have implemented over the years, but never goes all the way in that direction.  […] This intense, pulse-pounding action experience on top of all of the other things I have mentioned all add up to making Returnal my favorite Playstation 5 game so far, and one of my favorite action games of the last few years,” our review for it reads. The response to Returnal was a straight shot for PlayStation Studios – an outright acquisition. And while fans were hungry for more Returnal, Haousemarque did confirm that the next project will be a new IP. But, the game did offer some new content when its DLC ‘Ascension’ did ship the following spring. From the PlayStation State of Play, Housemarque emerges to reveal its new title, Saros. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below: “Saros is an action game with the haunting story of a lost off-world colony on Carcosa under an ominous eclipse. You play as Arjun Devraj, a powerful Soltari Enforcer who will stop at nothing to find who he is looking for. Our goal is to create an emotional and powerful character study that explores the cost it takes to create a new future,” Housemarque creative director Gregory Louden shares. “A key gameplay distinction between Saros and Returnal is permanent resources and progression making every death valuable. After every death you will face a changed world, but in Saros you will be able to choose and permanently upgrade your loadout from an evolving set of weapons and suit upgrades to “come back stronger” to overcome the challenges you face on Carcosa.” Do you show any interest for Saros? Saros will release in 2026 for PlayStation 5. Source: PlayStation Blog
