2K Announces PGA Tour 2K21, Details To Be Revealed Next Week

Publisher 2K shows to be flashing its muscles especially in 2020 regarding the plethora of sports titles that will be released under its belt. While it will not be arriving this year in particular, 2K did share earlier this year to be partnering with the National Football League (NFL) to reintroduced the self-named football titles that last shipped more than a decade ago. And now in a new announcement, another sport will be returning after its brief hiatus.

On Twitter this week, 2K shared that 2K Golf Club will be returning this year with a new name, PGA Tour 2K21. The publisher shares that new details are said to be revealed this coming Thursday next week.

2K shares that HB Studios responsible for the previously titled series will be returning to work on the new game. The Canadian studio has been involved with the golf sports genre since the conception of The Golf Club back in 2013. The series expanded with a sequel and a virtual reality release which both arrived later on in 2017. The following year in 2018, HB Studios picked up 2K as the publisher for the next installment, The Golf Club 2019.

Outside of golf-centered titles, HB Studios happened to be a contributing developer to the onslaught of sports projects shipped from Electronic Arts over the past decade. The team’s involvement ranging from NHL in 2011, Madden in 2015, and NBA Line in 2018. The team in the latter of the previous decade also assisted with the development for WWE 2K20 as well.
