This weekend is the Halo World Championships and one team will be crowned world champion as Championship Sunday begins today, October 6. As Day 2 concluded the official Halo account on X (Twitter), shared that fans will not want to miss “tomorrow’s special studio update before the Grand Finals.”
According to Rebs Gaming, a reliable Halo insider, the update is indeed special, and once again, it is reiterated that this is not about a new Halo game being revealed. This studio update is about Halo’s future and we may get a tease of it today.
When they mention this announcement, it also does not refer to Halo Infinite’s future.
To set expectations, 343 confirmed there won’t be a new Halo game announcement today. But I’m told this studio update is special because it involves Halo’s future and we might get a sneak peek of it. My source specified they aren’t referring to Halo Infinite’s future.

To kick off the Halo World Championship weekend, 343 Industries revealed a 3rd Person Mode is coming to Halo Infinite in November.
Could we finally see the Halo IP spread across other Xbox Game Studios for the first time? That could be interesting to see.
