It has been a year now since 343 industries released Halo 5: Guardians. Today, Josh Holmes, wrote a small blog teasing at what will be coming next for Halo 5 and how many updates they’ve launched in one year.
Since launch last year, we’ve delivered nine updates, expanding the content and experiences available to all players. We’ve released fifteen new multiplayer maps, six new game modes and many hundreds of new REQ items.
There has been more than 60 community maps featured in Halo 5 which is a lot and made forging even better by bringing it to Windows 10. He also goes on about the future with the ability to browse and join live custom games on both Windows 10 PC and Xbox One, the introduction of more maps into the Warzone Firefight rotation, new Forge canvases, an improved spectator experience, and more. We should be getting more details on all these in the near future.
