Of course, while Xbox’s Microsoft continues to orchestrate more titles of its own first-party lineup to be delivered day one to Xbox Game Pass for users across its growing ecosystem of platforms, the team also interacts with other developers to welcome other releases to the service as well for more variety in title available in the library. We witnessed that during Tuesday’s Xbox Gamescom Livestream.

In that, Microsoft & Humble Bundle unveiled that roughly a dozen entries will be launching to all platforms available for Xbox Game Pass on day one. Growing even more excitement to be an Xbox Game Pass owners, there was also an update on Image & Form Games’ The Gunk. According to a new trailer for the game, The Gunk is to ship later this December and by extension for Xbox Game Pass too.

Through a separate announcement from Nullpointer Games, In The Pit is another Xbox Game Pass addition planned to deliver later this October. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“As members of a family of lore-hunting mystics, you and your cousin Luridia separately wander the land following rumors of occult power,” the description for the game reads on Steam. “After discovering a demonic pit in a nearby village, Luridia’s once prolific letters grow silent. Something has gone terribly wrong. Now it is up to you to journey to the desolate hamlet under dark eldritch skies. What did Luridia discover? And what great power has this village unearthed?”

What is odd about the reveal for the game is despite it being published by Humble Bundle, it was not a featured title for the slideshow of showcased releases. What draws more question marks is that Into The Pit alike the others is to be delivered to Xbox Game Pass on its day of release as well.
