Ukraine-set developer 4A Games just this February released the third installment of the Metro series which is directly deprived from the titular book series by author Dmitry Glukhovsky, and while there is a major time gap between this year’s game and 2013’s Metro Last Light, fans could be expecting yet another game in the coming future. According to the latest financial report for publisher THQ Nordic, the series’ developer is already working on the next game.

According to THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors during the investor presentation, 4A Games is in fact developing a new title alongside Agents of Mayhem developer Volition who are working on a new Saints Row installment.

Following the report from the publisher’s CEO, no other information regarding the unannounced game has been detailed from Wingefors’ statement. Currently, Metro Exodus is in PC purgatory for fans who are boycotting the Epic Games Store as the title is exclusive to the platform for the first year of being release. However, the game is not entirely unique to Epic’s storefront as users on Xbox’s marketplace via the Xbox PC Game Pass can play the Exodus on the platform.

In relevant news regarding 4A Games, it was revealed that the studio that pushed away the developers that later formed 4A, GSC Game World, is currently working on the long awaited sequel that is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: you can read the full coverage for the game here.

Have you played Metro Exodus since the game’s release earlier this year? No worries, you can read our full review for the title where Rectify gaming’s David Rodriguez shares to have “really enjoyed the expanded scope and vision 4A games brought to Metro Exodus.”

Metro Exodus is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
