A brand new mainline Shovel Knight game is in development

Yacht Club Games announced they are developing a new mainline Shovel Knight game today after they hosted a digital presentation. The developer claims this isn’t just another sequel, it’s a bold new adventure that will launch Shovel Knight into an entirely new dimension of gaming.

The new Shovel Knight game is already four years into development and the team made it clear they want to perfect every pixel.

“Although we’re not quite ready to unveil everything just yet, rest assured this game will bring electrifying action, richer mechanics, and all the timeless charm you’d expect from a Shovel Knight title.”

There wasn’t much else said about the game or too many clues. Yacht Club Games did say there are clues in past games for this big project.
