During this past Inside Xbox livestream, Microsoft revealed that there will be a new wave of Xbox 360 titles that will receive an X Enhancement update for the more suited Xbox One X. Six in total, the list of games are:
- Fable 2
- Fable 3
- Ninja Gaiden II
- Splinter Cell: Blacklist
- Splinter Cell: Conviction
- Splinter Cell: Double Agent
As part of the latest live presentation from Microsoft, the company also answered to two different previously rumored products that were under their belt. Firstly, announcing the Xbox One S: All-Digital Edition console: prior to the announcement with codename ‘Project Maverick’, the digital-centered console removes the disk drive, asking for all games to be purchased through the Xbox Store.
Secondly, Microsoft debuted the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which bundles both the titular Netflix-esc service along with Xbox Live Gold for one flat price of $14.99 per month. Supporting the rumor’s credibility, members of the pre-alpha ring for Xbox Insiders will have the ability to test out the new service now.
How do you feel about Microsoft continuing to push their service/digital initiative for their platform?
