A New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Will Be Revealed At The Game Awards

UPDATE: Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series Descends to Battle December 2020 on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

ORIGINAL: The Game Awards kicks off at 6:30 PM ET with its pre-show and then the real show begins at 7:00 PM ET. The morning of the show on December 10, 2020, Nintendo of America has tweeted that a new fighter will be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

They are asking fans to tune into the show to find out who it could be:

Right now we are on Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with Min Min & Steve being the first two in the DLC pack. There are four remaining spots in this pass and we will know who the third one will be. It’s hard to predict who it could be now that it seems anything is possible for Super Smash Bros.

The DLC character being revealed will be part of Challenger Pack 8. We’ll find out soon enough! The last time we saw a Super Smash Bros. DLC Fighter announced it was Joker from Persona.
