There has been much speculation about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s price point because many had questioned if this was a full premium release or an expansion of last years Call of Duty. Earlier today it was reported that Modern Warfare III’s content would come via add-ons for Modern Warfare II.

Activision has confirmed Modern Warfare III will be a full premium release and will be priced at $70.00 USD. This also means MWIII is not an expansion like many initially thought. Here is a quote that Activision provided to CharlieIntel:

“As stated in numerous Activision Blizzard quarterly conference calls, Modern Warfare III is a premium release. It will be price accordingly at $70 USD”.

With that being said this throws any speculation of Modern Warfare III being a DLC to its predecessor out of the bag. The worldwide reveal for Sledgehammer Games’ next Call of Duty will be on August 17 in Warzone.

Will you be getting Modern Warfare III when it releases on November 10 for Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5 and PC?
