Amplitude Studio’s Humankind To Launch Day One For Xbox Game Pass For PC Next Week

In terms of the Xbox Game Pass lineup leading into this fall, players grow excited for the additions planned for the service as per Microsoft. So far, major AAA releases include Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood being one namely title. Of course, in-house sequel Halo Infinite is also to be delivered on at launch to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, however, the is only the campaign mode since multiplayer is already a free-to-play venture.

But on Monday, Microsoft shared that Xbox Game Pass for PC owners can expect another game in their library coming later this August. In that, Amplitude Studios’ Humankind is launching simultaneously on confirmed systems alongside Xbox Game Pass for PC. The title was initially announced back in summer 2019 and is now rolling out in just close to a week now.

Humankind is a convergence of culture, history, and values that allows you to create a civilization that is as unique as you are,” Xbox Game Pass Community Lead Megan Spurr writes for Humankind’s overview. “You’ll be re-writing the entire narrative of human history (…no pressure) from its humble beginnings in the Neolithic Era, as you set out to leave the biggest mark on the world.

“To create your unique civilization, combine 60 historical cultures from the Ancient, to the Modern Era. Each of those cultures will bring a unique layer creating  near-endless outcomes. You’ll further customize your civilization with every deed you accomplish and moral choice you make. Everything you do builds your fame, and the player with the most fame will win the game.

“Show off your strategic skills in deep tactical battles, make scientific breakthroughs and build a sprawling empire.
