Another season for Apex Legends has already made its welcome to the ongoing Titanfall battle royale more than a month ago. Ahead of the release, many were excited on what is to come in the new update via the ‘Neon Network Collection Event’ which featured new story content to feed the developing lore of its characters. Unlike Season 17 – Arsenal, the new season would not feature a new Legend joining the playable roster.
Instead, Season 4 Legend Revenant would be ‘reborn’ with a new set of abilities in Season 18 – Resurrection. Atop of that, despite reshaping one of the most flawed Legends, the player base has faced a fallout. And while worrying despite resolving some issues, Electronic Arts in its recent financial report told the game is shaping up for a major expansion to the series.
This week, the new ‘Harbingers Collection Event’ is revealed featuring many suiting elements for the Halloween season alongside the heirloom for Fuse, Razor’s Edge. The event will be live from September 19th to October 3rd. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Take heed, Legends, night has fallen and with it has come the messengers of Death. No need to lose your head. Take up a Rev Shell and set sights on your target for a limited-time in Living Shell Trios. And with the night still young yet, enter World’s Edge After Dark, a hellish variant live with the Harbingers Collection Event,” Respawn Entertainment writes.
“A new ordnance is upon us—the Rev Shell. For a limited-time, take out your enemies with a target-seeking grenade that looks almost as scary as the damage it does,” the overview for the new Living Shell Trios mode reads. “Grab a shell, toss it in the air, and it will take care of the rest—looking for valid targets before dealing significant damage. But beware, your opponents can take aim and shoot it down to cause an early detonation.”
