Thus far, Season 19 – Ignite has been a steady build-up for Apex Legends. Previously, it was reported a slump in retention took place in the past season, but, Electronic Arts touted more is promised to bring players back in the coming future. The newest addition to Apex Legends, Conduit, is a close tie-in to Titanfall which shows players are hungry for the greater shared universe.
Additionally, Season 19 has also offered the first ever collaboration event for the series. In that, a Post-Malone collection event took place featuring the notorious, limited-time ‘Three Strikes’ game mode. What gives this mode so much notoriety is the easy jump back into action momentum that players were hungry for current modes don’t offer. Enough so that the lifespan of Three Strikes was extended to the latter of November last month.
Recently, Respawn Entertainment uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Uprising Collection Event’ which features more in-game items including the ‘Apex Lycanthrope’ Mythic Loba skin and game mode ‘Revenant Uprising’. The Uprising Collection Event takes place from December 5th to January 2nd. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Revenant Uprising brings an all-out 30v30 war as Legends must reach the Evac point, while the Revenant Army does everything they can to stop their escape–swarming the ground like something straight out of your nightmares,” the blog reads for the game mode. ”The Legends may have the advantage at first, but if a squad is wiped, they join the simulacrum horde. Leading the Army is one player-controlled Red Eyed Revenant, spawning with high tier loot like red shields and weapons.”
Upon arrival for the new collection event, a final Kill Code video will be uploaded, ‘Uprising’.”Take part in a cinematic experience that introduces you to the final battle of Kill Code—the one you’re about to take part in— for the first hour of Uprising’s launch,” Respawn writes. The previous Part 4 is the precursor to the collection event coming this week.
