It has been about a week since the commencement of Season 4 for Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends, and there is still more content scheduled to roll out this week. According to a recent announcement made by the developer, a new event dubbed the Valentine’s Day Rendezvous will be arriving today.
However, due to complications that surfaced earlier in the day, Respawn Entertainment revealed later on that the event will instead be going live tomorrow.
What the latest holiday-themed event will be comprised of focuses on couples, hence duos. The two-party game mode returns once again for the Valentine’s Day occasion this time in the newly renovated World’s Edge. Launching with the returning mode also introduces “Double Up” XP which in the name offers twice the amount of experience points to your ranks from playing the mode. However, the boost is only limited to 20,000 XP for each day of the event.
Players who log in will also receive the ‘Valentines Day 2020‘ badge which hones an image of the iconic Nessie with a rose in its mouth. Additionally, the event also includes the Love Struck Nessi and Lovefinder Pathfinder gun charms. Last year’s Through the Heart Longbow cosmetic, and Love of the Game Pathfinder frame will both be available to purchase with a reduced discount.
Already said before, the latest Season 4 for Apex Legends is still settling into World’s Edge with the addition of new Legend Revenant and Sentinel bolt-action rifle: you can read the full overview for the season by heading here.
Apex Legends is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
