Ark: Survival Ascended release date confirmed for Xbox while PlayStation still waits

Studio Wildcard officially released Ark: Survival Ascended for PC via Steam on October 26, but the console release date had yet to be confirmed. The developer has now confirmed that Ark: Survival Ascended will launch on Xbox Series XlS and Windows on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The Xbox version will be up-to-spec with the latest PC functionality and will launch right into crossplay with the PC version.

Xbox Launch Notes:

Cross-platform with Steam will be enabled Day One.

We’ll be onlining a new set of Official Servers for the respective game modes (PVP, PVE, and Small Tribes). These servers will be running boosted rates for a period of time to allow players starting on them to catch up. Our hope is to synchronize the rates by mid-December.

We’ll also be onlining our first set of console-specific servers at this moment so that players who do not want to play on crossplay can play on those

When will Ark: Survival Ascended release on PlayStation?

Studio Wildcard shared in their blog post that they’re hoping to have a more precise date to announce soon as they are working with Sony to finalize this. Right now Ark: Survival Ascended is slated to release on PlayStation by the end of November.

In the blog post where they announce this, Studio Wildcard shares they made fixes for a number of bugs including server crashes, dino spawn issues, and mesh exploits.
