Arkane Studios Announces New Xbox Series X|S Exclusive Redfall

Of course, developer Arkane Studios is surely to be occupied with a new IP since its conclusion of Dishonored & Prey in recent years. Following the concluding acquisition of publisher Bethesda and parent company Zenimax Media from Microsoft, the developer commented on the synergy that continues to bring excitement to the team following the purchase.

Additionally, even Deathloop developer & subsidiary Arkane Lyon went on to echo a similar statement as well. “Being able to be apart of the Xbox Gamepass ecosystem makes things a bit different for us, because we can occupy a space in that service, and we will continue to make the kind of games that we make and make them well, studio lead Dinga Bakaba said at the time.

In a new announcement to close the Xbox-Bethesda E3 Showcase this weekend, Arkane Studios alongside Microsoft unveiled Redfall. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

Redfall is a new co-op, open-world first-person shooter from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored. Play it solo or in co-op with up to four players to face off against a legion of vampires that have overtaken the once-quaint island town of Redfall,” Anne Lewis, Senior Content Manager at Bethesda Softworks tells.

“In signature Arkane style, you will choose your path across the island and through the vampire masses as you discover what caused this plague of bloodsuckers, then put an end to the threat. Pick from a roster of heroes with unique skills and gear them up with customizable weaponry found throughout the island. Do whatever it takes to build the perfect team of vampire slayers.”

Redfall is scheduled to release sometime in summer 2022 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
