To many fans of the decades-long Mega Man series, the same love and support for the franchise is also growing for subgenre Mega Man Battle Network. In 2021, Mega Man Battle Network turns two decades-old. However, announcements to commence the celebration are told to be on hold as Capcom issues no announcements to be made.
In the past, we witnessed Capcom disclose similar celebrations for the mainline Mega Man installments with the Mega Man Legacy Collection that arrived in 2018. Not to mention the same affection being brought to Mega Man Zero with the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection that followed later on, there is a pattern that many are picking up on. But, Capcom is not prepared to spare its details just yet.
Coming from the official Mega Man blog – Rockman Unity – Capcom issues a statement in regards to Mega Man Battle Network’s 20th anniversary celebration.
If the world hadn’t been in this situation, If the world hadn’t been in such a state, I might have had other plans to announce. But for now, I think it’s time to be patient.

In addition to the statement from the Japanese developer, Capcom also comments that any planned projects are not being cancelled if any implications are being picked up. Simply, Capcom is not ready to muster an announcement as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is still at large and asks for its fans to sit patiently.
As for other Capcom-related properties looking to be receiving a returning collection, Ace Attorney looks to be on the radar.
