A new trailer released today for the new Assassin’s Creed sidescroller/2D platformer, Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles. Since this was first announced, there was only one story set in China, playing Shao Jun. But now there will be three separate stories instead of just one, set in Ming Dynasty China, Sikh Empire India and post Red October Russia.
- China: set during the end of the Ming Dynasty, you’ll play as Shao Jun, a newly trained assassin trained by the notoious Ezio Auditore. She returns to China with a vendetta to restore the fallen brotherhood.
- India: set in 1841 as tension grows between the Sikh Empire and East India Company, you play as Arbaaz Mir, you must discover why this Master Templar arrived to India with a mysterious artifact, formerly owned by the Assassin Order and retrieve it from him.
- Russia: set during the start of the Russian Revolution, you play as Nikolai Orelov. He planned to leave Russia with his family, but he must complete one last mission by stealing a artifact that the Assassins and the Templars have been fighting over for centuries from the Bolsheviks. Held in the same building as the Czar’s family, Nikolai obtains the artifact, but managed to save the princess, Anastasia, as the rest of the Czar’s children are massacred and must protect both the artifact and Anastasia.
Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles China will launch April 21st for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
