Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Fate Of Atlantis Final Episode Out Now

It has been quite the journey for Ubisoft Quebec’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey since the title’s release back in October as the developer has pumped out monthly updates as well as brought the promised content for the game with The Lost Tales of Greece free missions, legacy of the First Blade, and Fate of Atlantis.

This past Tuesday marked the final piece of the scheduled DLC that Ubisoft has planned for the Ancient Greek set title as Episode 3 for Fate of Atlantis has finally released. You can watch the trailer for the last episode here:

Given from the short glimpse of what episode three will include brings Alexios/Kassandra to the titular city of Atlantis where myth becomes reality. In the final stretch of content for the DLC story arc, the trailer offers a look at Poseidon himself as the description for the episode reads to “encounter the mighty Poseidon.”

As for what’s next to look forward to regarding the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft previously announced that the series will be taking a break in 2019, so don’t expect a new installment to drop later this Fall. However, a recent report detailed that through a Easter egg in The Division 2 and artwork concepts from a former Ubisoft developer hints at the next installment to take place during the Viking era.

In a separate report according to a partnership between Ubisoft and Facebook-acquired Oculus, the new deal looks to bring fan-favorite franchises from the publisher to the virtual reality platform. Detailing that unique games from both the Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell franchises to potentially be the first products of the agreement.
