With many of the games in the Assassin’s Creed series, Ubisoft is known for their historical accuracies in the worlds they create. With landmarks, statues and geological environments that are well known in real-life all being stored in the game’s database that players have the choice to look through. But this new Discover Mode seems to be a more involved gamemode for players to actually interact with the game and the history in it’s world.
Discover mode will be separate from the main game, giving the player the ability to travel through Egypt to learn its history. With several different tours to guide the player through and will be laid throughout Egypt. Created by historian and Egyptologists. Each tour covering different basics of ancient Egyptian culture and traditions. Like mummification and the life of Cleopatra are some of the many different subjects these tours focus on.
And players once set free in this mode will not be set back by the dangers of the game’s world one bit. No threat by enemies or its wildlife will attempt to stop the player from exploring its world when in Discover mode.
The Discover Tour will be free for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC in early 2018.
