Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been rated for Switch 2

According to the front page of the PEGI website, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 as the rating listed the platform earlier today.

The page also lists Assassin’s Creed Shadows for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, which are the platforms it’s available for now. The page, though, does not list Switch 2, but the front of the website does. This could be an error on PEGI’s end, but it still hasn’t been taken down.

Ubisoft is no stranger to supporting Nintendo’s platform. During the last eight years of the Switch, we have seen several games come to the platform. We saw multiple Assassin’s Creed games become available, along with the annual Just Dance releases and Rayman titles. We also cannot forget about Mario + Rabbids.

There were rumors prior to the Switch 2 reveal that at least six Ubisoft games were planned to release on the console. Assassin’s Creed Mirage was one of those games. One has to think that with the success of Shadows, it will be up for consideration.

Ubisoft found success with Assassin’s Creed Shadows as it became one of the best-selling games of 2025 so far. It also had the second-best release in the franchise’s history, and it’s not available on Game Pass.
