A couple of weeks ago Ubisoft announced that it will be delaying Assassin’s Creed Shadows to February 14, 2025, after it was expected to release this November. Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has reported that a co-op mode is currently being developed for Shadows.
The new co-op game mode is codenamed LEAGUE says Tom. This new mode is not expected to be at launch, so it will more than likely be a post-launch update as Ubisoft does not have a set release date. The outlet also shares the co-op mode has been in development for a while before Assassin’s Creed Shadows was delayed.
Tom Henderson shares that the co-op mode will see Naoe and Yasuke side by side.
It seems Ubisoft wants to create more multiplayer experiences for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. There are rumors of Assassin’s Creed Invictus being a new game in 2025 that is inspired by Fall Guys.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
