The relationship of both Digital Eclipse and Atari continues to grow. Previously, the American game studio in a legendary partnership worked out Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration which celebrates much of the titles from the golden era for the firm. And while Atari still stands decades later, players can now reflect on that time with a new time capsule experience on modern platforms.
Additionally, Digital Eclipse went on to become part of the Atari family earlier this fall. In an acquisition announcement, it was revealed that $20 million deal was made to bring the team onto Atari. This plays on top of Digital Eclipses’ pursuit for more legacy remasters. This includes Gold Master Series’ which launched ‘The Making of Karateka’ earlier in 2023.
