This entire week has illustrated to be very eventful for Japanese game studio Atlus. The developer is most notable for its radio silent development process and spares details very lightly on upcoming projects underway for the coming future. But during this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini, the team made a lasting impression on long-awaited fans for a highly-anticipated title in the works currently.
In that, the studio announced that the next installment in Shin Migami Tensei would be arriving later sometime next year. Additionally, the studio also shared a brief synopsis of the project with a minute-long trailer giving players a visual idea of what to expect regarding the plot for the fifth entry in the series.
Elsewhere this week, it was revealed that an update has been issued for another project currently in the woks to be shipped later this year. Publisher Sega has shared that the coming western release for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will now be arriving in the later portion of September 2020.
Originally, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim was slated to ship on September 8th, but now the game will arrive two weeks later, the publisher confirms. Regarding reasoning for the abrupt push for the game’s release, neither Sega nor Atlus spared details as for the decision to user the title to a later date. It is presumed that the efforts to work from home alongside other last minute fixes were in order to properly ship the title.
Earlier this week, Atlus also told that Shin Migami Tensei III Nocturne would be returning with a Remastered HD version set to arrive this coming spring in 2021. You can read the full report by heading here.
