Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg Expects A Bigger and Better 2016 Lineup than 2015

This  year, Xbox has certainly been keeping the fans with busy with the 2015 lineup but Microsoft’s Game Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg, tell’s of a bigger lineup coming next year. “We always have new things that we haven’t announced yet… We have a lot of great games, and even if you just look at what we’ve announced.” This year Xbox announced the release of both Halo Wars 2 and Gears of War 4, two triple-A games which fans have been eagerly waiting for. “Having Halo Wars 2 and Gears of War 4, I think it’s just gonna be an unbelievable lineup. And we’ve got more titles on top of that… There will be other titles that come from our id@Xbox partners… And then all the big third party titles.” “We expect next year to be an even bigger year for games. We expect there to be more games, we expect there to be more games sold, all up for the business, so we’re really kinda hitting our stride in this point in the console generation.” With many games already announced and the promise of more to come, we can expect quite the powerhouse lineup from Xbox and until next year, we will have to wait to see if it was successful. But I think it sounds pretty good to me.

Destiny: The Taken King Preparation Guide

Destiny: The Taken King Preparation Guide *Will Be Updated* The Taken King is coming and this guide will help you gear up and prep you to take on the taken and finish what you started. But if you want to go in and max out the experience, feel free to avoid my guide and take on Oryx with what you got. There are many guides out there but this specific guide is what I do when I log on and what I will be doing for the last days before Oryx joins our Solar System. Step 1: Getting Started Moments of Triumph: Just wanted to start the guide of by saying this is the last week to fill those yellow circles and if you don’t know how to check your status with the moments of triumph. Log into bungie.net and go to your profile, there you should see what is left for you to earn the emblem. Nightfall: Do the nightfall not only for the chance at getting some sweet loot but also for the exp buff, which will come useful for ranking up in factions and getting extra out of your missions. Weekly Heroic: The final week of the weekly heroic is here and this is the perfect opportunity to get 9-27 strange coins easily. Raids: Good place to gather some materials and have a shot at earning any gear you may have not had the luck with in the past. Step 2: Gather materials Armor Mats: With the newest update, armor mats from year 1 are now going to be retired for the new system, which is armor materials. Gathering these will be important to being able to level up your newly acquired gear. Motes and Strange Coins: DO the weekly heroics this week to get 9 strange coins as this weekly challenge will be gone after this week making it tougher to gather these valuable currency. As for motes, gathering these will be nice for many new features. For example: You can now upgrade your exotic weapons using motes of light and being able to level your newly acquired Sleeper Simulant. *Unconfirmed but I think everytime you level up at the max level you obtain 3 motes. Glimmer: You can never have too much glimmer. Even if you are maxed on 25000 glimmer, try storing those instant glimmer consumables and stack them in your vault. These are useful for things such as when Iron Banner rolls around for the first time in the new year, you might not have enough glimmer to buy the new armor or weapons. Planet materials: If you haven’t got many of these, look into when you are completing bounties and playing Destiny to gather anything you see. Again you can never have too much materials and you will burn through these when you start to upgrade your gear. Shards/Energies: It took me a while into the HoW to realize that you could trade many of these materials to get glimmer and motes of light. This being said if you’re low on these like me, because you spent 700+ motes trying to get the Ram. You might want to look at doing public events and raids if you have the time. But I don’t suggest rushing in and dismantling all your old legendaries. Vanguard/Crucible Marks: When the taken king comes out, you will be able to trade these marks you will be able to convert them to commendations which you can put towards your faction. Step 3: Ranking Up Factions Choose your faction: Be sure to pledge your allegiance to a faction before you start to grind out the new content. And you now no longer need to wear and faction class item to earn rep (We’re free!) Bounties: There are still bounties for you to do and turn in. These will be useful to leveling your faction up and earning some of the sweet surprises and loot. Patrols: Although they don’t give as much as the bounties there is plenty you can do whilst doing these new activities. I personally am currently grinding my grimoire score and VIP kills are something that I spend my time doing but it also helps to throw on a weapon type that I have not yet maxed out. Also there are new patrol missions to do and I will let you find them.   Part 4: Try the new content Crucible: Check out the new weapon adjustments and try the new game modes. Currently the new game-mode is Rift and on the 11th it will update with the other game mode, mayhem. Armsday: The gunsmith now has some weekly objectives for you to complete and gain reputation. Now before you race ahead and complete these, complete the nightfall and gain the exp buff. If you have this buff and you complete the objectives you will gain rank 1 for the gunsmith, though without it, you will fall short and have to wait for next weeks objectives. Subclass Quests: These new additions allow you to use each class in a specific way and complete similar tasks although can be rewarding when completed. Although I advise holding onto finishing the final quest as the reward system is a tad broken and will not give you all of the rewards. These also go for certain quests so be careful with turning them in and if you would like to know which ones, private message me on the forum and I will tell what quests. Step 5: Have fun! Replay: Remember the ghost’s voice has been changed and remember to replay some of the story missions to experience the new voice. Rectify Gaming: There will be many from the community who will be taking part in the new DLC and who will be playing the new update and trying the new features out. So be on the lookout and be sure to join the group and rep the community. You can join here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/132878 Discuss your thoughts on our
