Balatro has now sold 3.5 million units

The Game Awards are taking place tomorrow, December 12, 2024, and among the Game of The Year nominees, Balatro was probably the biggest surprise. The indie game took the world by storm when it was released earlier this year, and today, Developer LocalThunk announced that Balatro sold 3.5 million units.

Balatro was released on February 20, 2024, on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android. Since then the game has been a success for LocalThunk.
