Baldur’s Gate 3 is off to a tremendous start since its release on August 3rd for Steam. The role-playing game is releasing for PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2023 and the hype train is rolling over to consoles.
Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently the Best Selling Pre-Order on PlayStation in the United States. This comes from Benji-Sales on Twitter where it surpasses Madden NFL 24, Mortal Kombat 1 and Spider-Man 2.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is having an outstanding start to its life on PC only trailing Hogwarts Legacy as the largest Steam launch in 2023 when it comes to player count. The game received over 700,000 concurrent players at its best so far.
Is Baldur’s Gate 3 coming to Xbox?
The developers of the newest Baldur’s Gate shared difficulties of implementing split-screen for the Xbox Series S version of the game. Larian Studios hopes to have an update for the release of an Xbox port by the end of 2023.
