Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios has arrived for PC via Steam and it’s coming to PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2023. The role-playing game has become one of the best 2023 launch titles on Steam right behind Hogwarts Legacy. Baldur’s Gate 3 hit a high of over 700,000 concurrent players online and it’s already having huge success before it hits consoles.
For years the game remained in the early access stage where fans had to pay for a work-in-progress version of the game.
When will Baldur’s Gate 3 come to Xbox?
The Xbox port for Baldur’s Gate 3 has been delayed due to difficulties implementing split-screen for Xbox Series S. Larian Studios’ Director of Publishing, Michael Douse said “We have quite a few engineers working very hard to do what no other RPG of this scale has achieved: seamless drop-in, drop-out co-op on Series S. We hope to have an update by the end of the year.”
It seems that the developer hopes to have Baldur’s Gate 3 available on Xbox by the end of 2023.
