Among the plethora of licensed releases from Bandai Namco, the highly-anticipated Elden Ring, and other major releases from the Japanese publisher, Scarlet Nexus is in property that surely grabbed many by surprise during its initial announcement. Namely that the game was unveiled at an Xbox showcase in preparation for the Xbox Series X. Of course, the game is also coming to PC as well.
It wasn’t until later that the title would also be confirmed for PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5, Bandai Namco obtained another grasp on excited players as more anticipation grows for Scarlet Nexus. However, it has been nearly a year since its reveal and there is no understanding as to when the game arrives.
Thankfully, Bandai Namco in a new trailer reveals that Scarlet Nexus is due to arrive later this June for the promised platforms. You can watch the latest video on the footage below:
“In the far distant future, a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changed the world as we knew it,” the description reads on the game’s website. “As humanity entered this new era, deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains.
“Highly resistant to conventional attack methods, extreme measures needed to be taken to battle the overwhelming threat and preserve humanity.” Additionally, Bandai Namco in collaboration with Sunrise announced a Scarlet Nexus anime is also planned to release later this summer.
