Most recently, Riot Forge’s effort to expand the League of Legends universe pulls it off yet again with another engaging title under Convergence: A League of Legends Story. In our review for it, we said: “The game plays very much like any other action-platformer in the vein of Castlevania or Metroid, but the time-manipulation gives the game that extra special charm, to set it apart and make it a new and interesting gameplay experience.”

Additionally, the series is already shaping up with another ‘League of Legends Story’ title later this November. In that, Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is set to release this fall further layering the dense fabric of storytelling for the universe. From Tequila Works, Song of Nunu pairs titular Nunu along with Willump as they explore the wintery wild of Freljord.

Elsewhere during the Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday, Riot Games & Lazy Bear announced Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

You are a shy yordle living in Yarnville, a cozy but isolated island obsessed with all things knitting. The synopsis from the official Nintendo eShop page continues: “But when a party you attend goes horribly wrong, the portals collapse and everything is thrown into chaos! With your unique knitting magic and unflappable spirit, enlist the help of new friends, restore the portals, and reunite Bandle City once more!”
