So far for this summer, Nintendo remains on a strong foot when it comes to releases. In that, June shipped with two major releases: Super Mario Strikers Battle League & Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. But, there is still more on the way. Later in September, players can also anticipated the long-awaited Splatoon 3 in the fall.

But that same month is also packed with another major first-party release as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is scheduled to release later then also. However, what else is on the way? Well, Nintendo did reveal that Bayonetta 3 is slated for a 2022 release window. But, that date has yet to be revealed insisting it will ship this fall.

In a new announcement on Wednesday, Nintendo abruptly reveals Bayonetta 3 will release this October just days before Halloween. You can watch the new gameplay trailer in the video below:

“Bayonetta struts through multiple locations in an all-new, over-the-top climax action game. Sporting a wicked new ensemble and somehow familiar pigtails, the titular Umbra Witch must face a mysterious evil using her signature guns and time-slowing Witch Time ability. This time, invading manmade bioweapons called Homunculi find themselves in Bayonetta’s crosshairs,” the Nintendo eShop synopsis reads for Bayonetta 3.

Additionally, Nintendo has more good news for Bayonetta fans – 2009’s Bayonetta is receiving a physical release for Nintendo Switch. In the past, Nintendo released a physical copy for Bayonetta 2, however, the first title came bundled as a download copy.
