It was just last week that it was discovered by TrueAchievements that PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta and Vanquish will both be receiving a remaster in celebration of the game’s releasing ten years ago next year. While Bayonetta technically did back in October, the developer decided to wait until 2020 to include both titles with this new bundle.
Just like as reported previously, both title will be supporting a new resolution output of 4K with 60 frames-per-second performance enhance to give players a definitive experience of both games. Of course, that means both will be Xbox One X enhanced and PlayStation 4 Pro supported to provided that stated upgrades.
This PlatinumGames duology also shares a similarity to Rocksteady Studios Arkham Trilogy: reported prior to its announcement, a steelbook for the game surfaced on Amazon for fans planning on buying the then-leaked physical version of the game. Follow suit now with this bundle, players who pre-order the Launch Edition will also receive a decorative steel case for the physical version of the game as well.
One interesting note that should be mentioned, the two game collection in Japan will only be available on PlayStation 4, Sega confirms in the Japanese announcement trailer. While that might not sound like a significant issue on the surface as Japan is the home country for Sony’s platform, it does hinder those who might prefer purchasing the title on Xbox One.
What game are you most excited to start first with the 10th Anniversary bundle?
The Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary bundle will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 18, 2020.
