Black Ops 4 Officially Announced

The next title in the Call of Duty franchise will be the 4th installment Treyarch’s Black Ops series as announced by Activision.
Unusual that the game won’t be following the proper use of Roman Numerals with IIII instead of IV. For what we know yet is not much on what the game will have or where it will be set. As seen from Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: WW2, returning the game’s roots of boots on the ground have gave the game a boost in sales as a result of this dramatic change.
The last title developed by Treyarch, Black Ops III was set 40 years prior to Black Ops 2 where the player is a black operation super soldier in 2065. For IIII to follow the same path that III have is unknown yet, but we assume it will at a more realistic time period. Rumored earlier this week was that Black Ops 4 was to be set in the near future.
For the full reveal of this new title, Activision will have a worldwide reveal on May 17. Along with leaving us with a teaser trailer for the game.
Black Ops IIII will be available October 12, 2018 for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
