The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct has officially concluded giving a deeper dive at the game’s Campaign and a small glimpse at its multiplayer. During the presentation, it was revealed that Black Ops 6 will have all-new maps at launch across its core 6v6 modes and there will be Strike Maps that are generally smaller.

Black Ops 6 will launch with 16 all-new multiplayer maps when it releases on October 25, 2024, across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. There will be 12 core 6v6 maps while there will be 4 Strike Maps.
It’s similar to what Modern Warfare III launched with, but this time these maps are not remakes of fan favorites from past Black Ops games. Each multiplayer map has its own story and all have a connection to the Campaign.
