Since the game’s inception, fans grow ever more excited when something new gets announced for Team Reptile’s Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. At the time, it was a rush to discover that there will be a parallel successor to the beloved Jet Set Radio IP from the team that made Lethal League. Even more excitement sprouted upon discovering that original composer Hideki Naganuma is to be working on the OST for the coming project.
At the time, the game was left untouched in terms of its release date. However, developer Team Reptile in one update changed the game’s expectancy to 2022, one trailer shares. But still, the game was only listed for one platform – PC. So it was inevitable that more systems could expect the game soon after.
In a new trailer uploaded on Wednesday, Nintendo Switch has been added to the listed systems that Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is arriving to. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“Yes! Skateboarding will be one of the move styles, there will still be more ways to get around,” Team Reptile writes in addition to the new trailer for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. As most players appreciate the risks that the studio is taking to expand on what Sega left from Jet Set Radio, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is proving to shape up more effectively than ever anticipated for a game not by the original team.
Simultaneously, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was also a featured title at Wednesday’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase. That alongside Loop Hero, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, and Axiom Verge 2 are namely projects presented then. You can read the full report by heading here.
