Long time head of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross has made the decision to leave the studio due to a family medical issue. This was announced on Monday, September 12th through a statement on Twitter. Bonnie had been involved with Halo over the last 15 years helping the team deliver Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo Infinite and most recently the Halo Television Series on Paramount+.

343 Industries will now be lead by Pierre Hintze who has been with the team since 2018 primarily focusing on fixing Halo: The Master chief Collection. Pierre will now be leading the development of Halo: MCC, Halo Infinite and future games.
Windows Central also reported that Bonnie Ross’ role will be split into three parts. Bryan Koski will be the GM of franchise and Elizabeth Van Wyck will oversee the business and operations.
Halo Infinite has had a rocky year one when it comes to content and the road map, but later this November the game will be receiving the Forge Beta, a free 30 tier battle pass and more maps will be coming. What really has shocked the Halo community was when 343i recently announced the cancellation of split-screen co-op even though it has been accessed in the base game.
