As virtual reality is slowly becoming a more common medium for gaming, players have been looking to see more games arrive as the present selections is limited with short experiences or simulators. With the exception for a few titles for the platform, VR still has a long way until it reaches the same respect as consoles.
One title that will be joining the VR game roster is Borderlands 2. As part of the two year celebration of PlayStation VR releasing, this along with a list of other titles will be featured for the device’s birthday.
For those who might have missed out on the 2012 title will have the chance to enter the wastes in a new experience. Introducing new feature like the BAMF Time (BadAss Mega Fun Time). A new mechanic that adapts to VR giving players better response time to dodge bullets when activated. With VR being strictly first person, you will also be able to drive vehicles for the first time in this perspective as well.
BAMF Time expands onto the original Bounty Hunters abilities too, developing on the already present abilities and twisting their power with the new feature. What’s surprising from the return of this first-person shooter to VR is that there is only PlayStation Move support, but not for the gun-shaped aim controller.
Borderlands 2 VR will be available on December 14, 2018 for PlayStation VR.
