Going the length to understand the current progress on the upcoming Borderlands motion picture, it is certain that majority of the casting has already been decided. Most recently, it was revealed that Star Wars Battlefront II star Janina Gavankar will be playing Commander Knoxx in the film. And with filming to commence in Budapest earlier this spring, it is anticipated more images are to arrive anytime now – or possibly even a trailer.
But since the reporting, little on the production has been shared as of writing. However, star Jamie Lee Curtis kicked off the first reveal on Twitter this week. In that, she shared the first glimpse of Cate Blanchette playing Lilith while in costume. Additionally, Curtis also spared a full cast image which includes Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Tannis, And Florian Munteanu as Kreig, and Kevin Hart’s portrayal of Roland alongside the Claptrap voice by Jack Black in the image.

Elsewhere on the Borderlands movie official Twitter account, the profile also shared individual images for each character: Lilith, Roland, Dr. Tannis, Tiny Tina, Krieg, and Claptrap with respected descriptions. More information on the production was revealed in terms of the plot for the film when Edgar Ramirez was casted as Deukalian Atlas earlier on.
Now with stills of some of the characters that will be present in the full theatrical release, it signifies that we are ever so close to witnessing some footage of the production. However, it is undetermined when that will be. But for fans of Eli Roth, you should already understand where the motion picture will lead. You can read the initial report by heading here.
