Announced back in January of this year Bossa Studios behind games like Surgeon Simulator and I Am Bread debuted Decksplash. Similar objective as Splatoon yet plays like Tony Hawk, Decksplash was to be a multiplayer game where the bigger combos you had help dominate the park.
Which you can see us talk more about here.
Recently they hosted a free week to play the game with a player goal to determine if they’ll bring the game to early access or cancel the game all together. The free week has passed and Decksplash has not reached the 100Kgoal that Bossa has planned and changed the website to a gravestone for the stone. Along with a sendoff message for those who supported the game and thanked them.
Stating from the message:
We always knew that 100k was a big target, but it was the only way to make sure the game was a viable product for both yourselves and us in the long term, now we’ve gotten our answer.
Following with that those at Bossa Studios will be using what they’ve put into Decksplash this year will be iterated into future projects they have planned.
