The creators of Destiny, Bungie Studios have been busy working on new expansions for Destiny 2 and recently announced Marathon coming in 2024. A new report shares the PlayStation Studio is working on a new game, codenamed Gummy Bears.
This comes from sources close to The Game Post who say Gummy Bears is the new game from Bungie that is planned to be similar to a MOBA title. It will feature a competitive experience that Bungie is very familiar with designing since the days of Halo and now Destiny.
Here is what The Game Post said regarding in-game characters:
“One source tells us that the game features very colorful and “cute” characters. Another person The Game Post spoke to suggested the in-game characters with an almost neon-like appearance.”
Today, Bungie posted that they’re working on something new and it shows a very colorful image that could very well related to the new project.
Incubation at Bungie is focused on developing inclusive worlds, which takes time and team members with diverse backgrounds, so we’re actively hiring in fully remote roles!

You can view more details about Incubation at Bungie here where it shows interesting concept art. In 2018 Bungie filed a trademark for ‘Matter’ so it’s possible project Gummy Bears is related.
During the recent PlayStation State of Play, Bungie revealed the return for Marathon which is a new multiplatform, PvP Extraction title coming in 2024.
