Back in January, news broke that Bungie will be breaking ties with Activision as the current publisher for the franchise and will work on the remaining promised content as an independent developer, breaking the partnership between the two since 2010. Since then, Bungie has been bringing shipments of content to the 2016 first-person shooter and the next chapter for the game will receive its own livestream just days before this year’s E3 event.

On top of the upcoming Season of Opulence that will arrive next week on June 4th, the next wave of content planned for Destiny 2 will be presented on the game’s Twitch two days after.

Regarding what the new chapter will offer this time around has not been presented nor did the post on the developer’s Twitter hint at the next addition to the title. The livestream will take place on June 6th at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST.

If you still are new to the latest installment from Bungie, you can read up on our review for the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 here. Rectify Gaming’s David Rodriguez shares that Forsaken “isn’t perfect, but it succeeds in giving Destiny the content filled shot it needs.”

Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
