We can expect a new Call of Duty releasing in 2023 after reports and expectations of a Premium DLC coming for Modern Warfare 2 instead of a new release. It looks like they are going back to the traditional yearly releases as Insider Gaming verified with their sources that a fully-fledged Call of Duty will be coming out this year.
Whatever the new Call of Duty is, it will have a heavy connection with the Modern Warfare series and there’s an expectation of a lot of remastered maps for multiplayer. Another part of this is that the project will be a collaborative project across all Activision’s Call of Duty studios.
Insider Gaming also reports that the game will have two Beta weeks along with a Campaign Early Access launch and that Call of Duty 2023 will be releasing on November 10.
Beta weekend 1 (PS4/PS5) – October 6, 2023 – October 10, 2023
Beta weekend 2 (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – October 12, 2023 – October 16, 2023
Campaign Early Access ((PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 2, 2023
Full Release (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 10, 2023
