The future of Call of Duty seems to have been leaked for at least the next two years. It’s already reported that 2024’s Call of Duty will be Black Ops Gulf War and now, Call of Duty 2025 looks to be another continuation of the Black Ops series. According to a known insider for Call of Duty, Tom Henderson has reported that Call of Duty 2025 is known as codename ‘Saturn’ and it will take players to the future once again.

Tom reports that Call of Duty 2025 will take place in 2030 and for those who forget, Black Ops 2 was set in 2025 so it would make sense for this to be a direct sequel. Insider Gaming also shares that fans should expect the return of fan-favorite protagonists as well.

The outlet also reports that popular maps from Black Ops 2 will be remastered and the initial plan was to remaster all of the maps from the game, but now it seems they will mix in new maps with the classics.

While we haven’t entered 2024 yet, are you still excited for the future of Call of Duty?
