Microsoft and Activision revived the old Call of Duty titles that we remember from the Xbox 360 era. Those include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 1 and 2. Players on Twitter were sharing the player count for Black Ops 1 and the number exceeds 100,000 online at the same time.

Games from over ten years ago would showcase how many players would be online and the counter seems to still work. The highest count we can see based on images players posted was 127,218.

That player count is larger than many First-Person Shooter titles that released in the last few years. Along with Black Ops 1, other COD games were getting lots of player counts as well such as Modern Warfare 3 with over 68,000 players online.

With classic Call of Duty games coming back to life are you ready to jump back in?
